BMW i8 Spyder revealed at MIAS

Concept BMW i8 Concept Spyder is the same in essence a hybrid sports car, but with an open top. Through lightweight construction and a modern hybrid power plant dynamics of the roadster has a powerful sports car and fuel consumption level subcompact. Electric engine with 131 horsepower on the front axle, is paired with a rear three-cylinder petrol turbo engine with 223 liters.

Both engines have been developed by the BMW Group and issue an aggregate capacity of 354 liters and maximum torque of 550 Nm. This is enough to disperse the roadster up to 5 "hundreds". Fuel consumption with the EU standards for 3 liters per 100 km.
